Dr. Pille Kirjanen

Plastic surgeon

I am plastic and reconstructive surgeon Pille Kirjanen. I dreamed to be a doctor already during middle school. And even before I attended Medical School I know that surgery would be a logical choice for me. During my Medical studies my interest to the surgery become deeper, so I chose every surgical course provided, and also started to attend the surgeries with plastic surgeons in Tartu University Hospital. On my way to the speciality I chose, I have met interesting and inspiring people and very good and giving teachers, who have made the field of plastic surgery more interesting to me, than I ever could imagine. During my residency program I also met Jüri Kullamaa, MD, with whom we are good colleagues till date. Today I perform about 500 different, both aesthetic and reconstructive, operations a year, in addition to that I also perform surgical procedures (eg thread lifts, removal of moles) and injections (fillers, botox). In Kotka Private Hospital I perform my aesthetic procedures (mainly breast and body operations, but also facial operations and procedures) and consultations. In North Estonian Medical Centre my main field of interest are breast reconstructive operations and skin cancer surgeries in head and neck region.
Since February 2017, I consult and operate in Kotka Private Hospital, where we have the most modern possibilities and best and friendliest personnel to give personal and professional care to our patients.
I am full member of Estonian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Dr. Jüri Kullamaa

Plastic surgeon

I am Dr. Jüri Kullamaa, plastic surgeon of private hospital Kotka Erahaigla. I have performed plastic surgeries for about 30 years. I started in 1988 with aesthetic plastic operations in Tallinn in the Tallinn Medical Centre of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology. While in the first years primarily the problems of the face and neck area were dealt with in Estonia, all the operations can be performed on the body since the establishment of the inpatient department. From among approximately 600 operations performed a year, most are breast operations.

All my consultations and operations take place in Kotka Erahaigla, where there are modern facilities for servicing patients. I am a founding member of the Baltic Association of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery, and member of the Estonian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Society (EPRS).

Dr Mart Eller

Plastic surgeon

Dr. Eller has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu and completed residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. From 2011, Dr. Eller has been working as a doctor and lecturer at Tartu University Hospital in the area of plastic surgery, training colleagues in different fields of plastic surgery, such as reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, burn surgery and congenital deformities surgery. His main areas of practice involve reconstruction of soft tissues, including correction of congenital and acquired deformities, as well as aesthetic surgery. In addition to Tartu University Hospital, Dr. Eller works for several private clinics and performs 600–700 surgeries in a year.

Dr. Eller is a member of the Estonian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr. Margus Luht

Otorhinolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon

Dr. Luht has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu and completed residency in otorhinolaryngology. He specialises mainly in rhinoplasty. Dr. Luht is a member of the Estonian Otorhinolaryngological Society and the Estonian Society of Head and Neck Surgeons.

Dr. Bret Kaldvee

Dermatovenerologyst

I am dermatovenereology final year resident Bret Kaldvee. In addition to residency I am also active in the fields of science. I started my PhD studies in Tartu University Faculty of Medicine 2016. My research work is focused on psoriasis, specifically it investigates molecular mechanisms of psoriasis pathogenesis during biological treatment.
Passion for dermatology started during my studies in Tartu University. Dermatovenereology professor Külli Kingo planted the seed of love to dermatology and it has grown ever since. During that time I also started learning and practicing aesthetic medicine, it is safe to say that anti-aging medicine (botulinum toxin, fillers and lasers) have become my biggest passion. It is fascinating how much we can achieve with non-surgical aesthetic medicine. My goal in aesthetic medicine is to enhance patients natural beauty and erasing signs of aging.
Shared interest in aesthetic medicine brought me to work to Kotka private Hospital, which has the state of the art knowledge and equipment to fulfill all our patients needs.
I am a member of The Estonian Society for Dermatovenereologists (ENSAS), European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and International Dermoscopy Society (IDS).
